Wow this was doubtlessly one of the best posts I've had the chance to come across on the topic so far. I don't have any idea where you get all your information but up! I am going to send a few people your way to read this. Awesome, totally fantastic. I'm have just started getting into spitting out articles myself, nothing remotely close to your writing skills (ha!) but I'd love for you to have a look at my article someday! right here

Hello,
I'm in need of recoloring many files from CMYK to a Pantone blue, but I can't seem to get it to batch process.

Do you know of a way of getting 'recolor' to batch a lot of files at once?

Thanks,

peter

SUCKS. Not a Symlink - just a shortcut. Symlinks useful for their low-level attributes. That way they can be used for sharing common conf files, settings, media, etc.

The title of this post is a misleading and misinformed.

I created the MS equivalent of a symbolic link to a network drive today by just dragging the folder (eg: t:\work\) over to my Start Menu button. Simple. After that I was able to copy the symbolic link from my Start Menu to my desktop and Quick Launch bar.

>> it just creates a folder that
>> references and act’s a normal shortcut.

Although at a low level it is a type of short cut, this certainly DOES NOT behave like a normal shortcut.

For example, after copying the link to my desktop I can now browse my network drive as if it were a sub-folder of my desktop - just as one would expect from a symbolic link. You can't do that with a normal shortcut.

I didn't have any glue or paper clip or wire cutters to cut the paper clip.

I took a length of 0.7 mm diameter pencil lead and used clear adhesive tape wrapped around really tight - this works really great!
